Okay, this post is a few days later than I’d originally planned. The Ohioana Book Festival was on Saturday, May 11, 2013 and here I am, on Tuesday, writing about it. I’m allowed to blame a headache on Monday right? There’s no way I was going to do much of anything on Sunday after such a long day!
But late is better than never. Continue reading
It’s been a long time since I’ve had any updates on what I’m working on next or if there will be any more Kat. I’ve also received quite a few questions in that regard.
Well, I have an answer. Continue reading
It has been quite a while since I’ve posted anything here. It’s not because I wasn’t busy or even too busy, but rather, for a myriad of reasons. There wasn’t much in the way of news to report, I was having a hard time sorting through everything that had been happening, and my wrist and thumb decided to give up on me, making typing more difficult than it used to be.
So what has been happening?
So, here’s the deal. The Little David Lost e-book that was uploaded was actually the wrong one! There were mistakes made in the copy editing process that I’d fixed, but somehow, the wrong file ended up being uploaded. This file, while containing the same story, has far more errors, spelling and whatnot, than the other. Continue reading

It’s here: release day for the newest Kat Redding book! Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the past year (and happy reading!). If you haven’t picked up Blessed by a Demon’s Mark, it’s available at most major bookstores (Amazon, B&N, etc.) or on your favorite eReader.
Stayed tuned for a release day giveaway through Goodreads!
We are only a few weeks away from the release of Blessed by a Demon’s Mark and the reviews are coming in! So far, they have been pretty positive. Even the reviews that were so-so had a lot of good things to say so I’ll be linking them here. I’m thrilled that people have enjoyed the book and really hope I can finish off the series in a way that will both entertain and satisfy everyone who has stuck with me this far! Continue reading
Little David Lost is now available as an e-book!
I thought long and hard about whether or not to put this book out there as an e-book, but decided that in the long run, I wanted people to read it. It is my attempt at a YA horror and I’d like to think I did a good job with it. It’s quite the departure from the Kat Redding series, but I’m fine with that. I never wanted to be locked into one genre or one series. I like to experiment!
You can find Little David Lost at most e-book retailers, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Smashwords.
If you pick it up, feel free to let me know! I’d love to hear what you think.
I had a great time this last weekend at Books by the Banks in Cincinnati! I enjoyed meeting all of the readers and other authors who attended. I plan on coming back as long as they will have me!
Of course, everything wasn’t perfect. I would have had pictures, but our camera is pretty much toast, so there’s really nothing to share. I’d planned on having all kinds of things to show, but have to settle on a simple post. I’ll make sure to either have a new camera or be ready to use my wife’s phone for the November Buckeye Book Fair in Wooster. My phone currently doesn’t like to save pictures.
So, thanks to everyone who stopped by my table to talk. Even if you didn’t pick up a book, I did enjoy the conversations and hope to see everyone again!
This last weekend, I was at the Y-City Writers Conference in Ohio. It was small, which suited me fine since I am not used to crowds. I had a good time and hope to see everyone again next year.
Next up are the bigger events. I’ll be at the Duke Energy Center for Books by the Banks in Cincinnati on October 20th. Then on November 3rd, I’ll be in Wooster, Ohio for the Buckeye Book Fair. Both events are much bigger than I’m used to, but not so big that I’ll feel overwhelmed…I hope.
I hope to see everyone there!
